Cremation
Cremation is a personal and a family decision. You might prefer a funeral service, memorial service, or commemorative gathering with cremation following. Some families choose to have cremation done first, with the cremated remains present during the service in an urn. If you prefer not to have a service, you might choose immediate cremation. There are also many choices regarding final disposition, such as permanent possession, scattering, burial, or entombment. Monuments and plaques are available for memorialization after disposition, as well.
Many people ask us to arrange a final resting place in a cemetery or memorial garden, where loved ones may later visit. Another option is scattering in a location that has a special meaning. Of course, choosing cremation still allows for all the personalization options that help to memorialize the life that has been lived.
