Emma T. Wolosz, age 90, formerly of Juneau, died Friday, July 4, 2008 at Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 7, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon. Fr. Jerome Rinzel will officiate. There will be a time of fellowship and a light lunch in the church hall immediately following the mass.
Emma was born on June 8, 1918 in Oshkosh Wisconsin to the late Aloise and Eleanor (Blau) Palecek. On July 20, 1940, she was united in marriage with Henry C. Wolosz in Minocqua, Wisconsin. Emma moved to Dodge County in the early 1950”s. She was active in the Immaculate Conception Church in Juneau, currently Sacred Heart Parish in Horicon, and involved in various church and numerous other community organizations. Emma enjoyed traveling, card clubs, and Friday night fish fries and movies. She was truly an amazing woman who always had time for her family and friends.
Survivors include seven children Elaine (Jim) Nehls, Jim (Barb) Wolosz, Diane (Dave) Schroeder, Leanne (Steve) Heinlein, Janet (Fritz) Westphal, Joan (Pete) Wiese and Alan (Carol) Wolosz, 17 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, four brothers and sisters, Virginia Edwards, Nancy (Dave) Gagnow, Dave (Beverly) Palecek and Kathy (Rich) Malakuski, her brother-in-law, Wally Latshaw, other relatives and friends. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Helen Latshaw.
