Doris M. Fiegel

Doris M. Fiegel, 95, of Beaver Dam passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam. A visitation for Doris will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam. A funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Seth Dorn officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Doris Marie was born on March 15, 1922 the daughter of Herman and Minnie (Birkholz) Kutzke in Waupun. On May 31, 1941, she was united in marriage to Harold A. Fiegel in Beaver Dam, WI. Doris is survived by her children: Alice (Ace) Oestreicher of Beaver Dam, Diane (Dan) Cupery of Beaver Dam, Shirley Thieme of Juneau, Beverly (Dave) King of Fond du Lac, Ric (Connie) Fiegel and Ronney (Lisa) Fiegel both of Beaver Dam; 13 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; nieces, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, son Randy, sister Evelyn Friesen, brother Edward Kutzke and her faithful companion Fluffy. Doris was a proud and dedicated wife and homemaker. She had a great sense of humor and was a very optimistic and positive person. Doris was a fabulous baker of many sweet treats and will be fondly remembered for “Chocolate Chip Saturdays”. She was a faithful member of St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam; and she truly enjoyed her monthly visits with the Pastors. Doris and Harold enjoyed going out to eat at the area Supper Clubs. Memorial Donations may be directed to St. Stephen’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam or to Hillside Hospice.
