John Bauernfeind

John D. Bauernfeind, age 58, of Beaver Dam, died peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021, with family by his side. The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. John David Bauernfeind was born on May 5, 1963 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Elmer and Martha (Riebe) Bauernfeind. On October 27, 2001 he was united in marriage with Tricia Miller in Beaver Dam. John had passion for many things in life. He loved reading and was a history buff. He enjoyed all genres of music and was a talented guitarist; passing that talent on to his children. He loved motorcycles and worked for several years at Mischler’s Harley Davidson before becoming a barber. John was a barber at Keith’s Barber Shop in Beaver Dam and just retired in December. John will be missed by his wife, Tricia of Beaver Dam; children, Samantha Griffin (Marcus Cannon) of Sun Prairie, Alison (Justus) Wolf of Beaver Dam, Dana Bauernfeind (Ben Harmon) of Waupun, Nicholas Bauernfeind of Beaver Dam, and Lily Bauernfeind of Beaver Dam; granddaughter, Chloe Harmon; mother, Martha Bauernfeind of Beaver Dam; sister, Diane Young of Sun Prairie; brother, Mark (Lois) Bauernfeind of Beaver Dam; father-in-law, Roger Miller of Beaver Dam; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and mother-in-law, Sally Miller.
