Dawn M. Rennhack-Kearney, age 56, of Waupun, died on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Waupun Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with COVID-19.The memorial gathering will be at Koepsell-Zeidler Funeral Home in Columbus on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. The memorial service will follow at the funeral home in Columbus at 12:00 noon with Celebrant John R. Leiting officiating.Dawn Marie Rennhack was born on February 28, 1965 in Columbus, Wisconsin to Dennis and Florence (Burgin) Rennhack. She was raised in Columbus area and Dawn always considered it home. She was a 1983 graduate of Columbus High School and later achieved her associates degree from University of Phoenix. On August 17, 2012, she was united in marriage with Ken Kearney in Madison, Wisconsin. Dawn worked for National Seating and Mobility, where she started as an entry level assembler and worked her way up to area manager at the end of last year. Dawn considered her life to be perfect before she became sick; she had the most loving husband, finally purchased her forever home, and her career was on track. She knew this illness was taking it all away from her, and she fought hard until the end. Dawn was an amazing mother and grandma; she treasured every mother/daughter day that she had. She was so proud of each of her children and loved her grandchildren very much. She loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed hiking trips with her husband. Dawn was an avid Packer fan. She loved get-togethers with her family and especially enjoyed her sister time. Wine walks, dinners and sister days won’t be the same without Dawn.Dawn is survived by her loving husband, Ken; children, Brandi (Steve Gottschalk) Cramer, Josh (Kayla) Udell, Jacob (Trina) Shelton, Naomi Kearney, Jacob Kearney, and Seth Kearney; grandchildren, Dayton, Braxton, Colton, Austin, Matthew, Camryn, Zacariah, Adley, and Greyson; siblings, Deb Rake, Darci Bosse, Kris Isensee, Jennifer (Chuck) Emerson, Dale Marshall, Jr.; stepfather, Dale Marshall, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Pat and Bob Boness, Pam and Richard Schoen, and David and Becky Rennhack; many nieces and nephews; cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; Dennis Rennhack and Florence Burgin Marshall; and grandparents, Frederick “Fritz” and Elverna Rennhack.
