I am saddened to hear this news. My deepest condolences to the family and the entire Dodge County community. I worked for Judge K for 2 years. I consider him one of my most influential mentors. What I learned behind the scenes at the courthouse will always stick with me, as both an attorney as well as an aspiring judge. He knew how to apply the law, and he did it with great efficiency. He truly prepared for every hearing so he could issue rulings from the bench if possible. More importantly he managed his courtroom with a firm, decisive, but kind demeanor that I am not sure I have come across again in 30 years as an attorney. I am a better attorney for having known him.
So many fond memories from many years past. I loved the banter we shared about Iowa and Wisconsin sports. He melted my heart when he said I was the only Hawkeye he loved.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to the entire family.
His service to our country and his community was above and beyond.
Love you, Satch.

Dan was one of my favorite classmates in Law School. He helped me keep a sense of humor during tough times. We were all intimidated by our professors, but not Dan! He was known for simplifying our classes with what we called "Big Dummy Doctrine". For example, Satch on property law, "Either you own it or you don't."
On behalf of the Badger Honor Flight Board and all our volunteers, we extend our deepest condolences to you all, the family of Daniel Klossner. We are forever thankful for his service to our great country. What an honor it was to take him on his “Trip of a Lifetime”. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
What a legacy! One of the finest to come out of Juneau. On the rare occasion when we would cross paths the judge would always greet me in that booming voice, "Well, Mr. Schultz!". Condolences to the Klossner's and Buhr's.
Our sincere condolences and prayers 🙏🙌 to family & friends!
Sach was a great classmate & Judge!
