Very sad to hear this news. Very sad. Coached Veronica’s soccer and baseball teams.
We loved Abby & send sympathy & prayers to her family.
When Abby was deciding on a wedding dress, she had a few picked out & we
( public health peeps) were all weighing in with our opinions. Then, voila!, the perfect dress arrived from Goodwill in Texas , courtesy of her sister. We were anxious to see if it was worth the hefty price tag ( $ 10?), so Abby brought it to work & modeled it for us. In addition to glowing with happiness & excitement over her upcoming marriage, she now had THE dress & looked so darling and sweet in it !

I’m so very sorry to hear of Abby’s passing. While I did not know or ever meet her, I felt connected because of all her extraordinary efforts during the pandemic. She was strong, calming and tried her level best to do all the right things. My condolences to all of her family.
Our family is praying for all of your family. Her leadership was uplifting but yet consoling to very tenacious times in Dodge County. Blessings to all.
Our hearts go out to you all in the loss of your beloved daughter, wife, sister and mom. She touched so many lives with her loving care and kindness, and I was so blessed to be able to have worked with her this past year. Knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior is such a comfort, but no words can express the sadness we all feel. Please know that we are keeping you in our prayers.
Jim, Barb and family, I am so sorry for your loss.
My deepest sympathies to Abby's family. I will never forget our time spent together at FUMC especially during Bits of Broadway. My heartfelt condolences to Larry and Marcia.
Abby was a tremendous public health leader during COVID. Her genuine sense of care and perseverance never waivered amidst the politicalness of the times - always keeping best practice and practicality at the forefront. She will be missed greatly, but her leadership and disposition will live with me forever. Our deepest sympathies to her family. We are here for you.
Abby was an amazing leader for our County as she led schools through the Pandemic. She led with confidence and expertise. Abby cared deeply about those in her care. As she navigated the unknown for us, she did it with grace. She will be deeply missed as a colleague and friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family as they learn to navigate life with her as their angel. Abby, your light will continue to shine, you made a difference to many.

Where do I begin? Abby and family were part of our families life for many years. Swim team, prom, church, we loved her and I can not imagine the pain you are all feeling. I am praying for all of your strength. Abby had a smile a person will never forget. We live in Florida or we would be there to give you all a hug. So sad and shocking. Hugs and Prayers to you all.
Abby was a beautiful person, and I will miss her. She inspired and encouraged me to run my first half marathon. She had many fitness friends who joined her early morning group workout sessions - running the "Dam" stairs as part of our training! Pushed me to do just a few more flutter kicks at the TAG and always had a smile on her face. My condolences.
On behalf of the School District of Horicon, we extend our deepest condolences to Abby's family and friends. Abby was an amazing supporter of our schools and was a beacon of light especially during the fog of COVID as she worked with the school districts throughout Dodge County to navigate unchartered waters. Abby served our nation in war and during pandemic with grace and confidence. You will be missed by so many.
Rich Appel - Superintendent of Schools & the entire staff of the School District of Horicon
I had a growing friendship with Abby. We had similar interests and hobbies that I was looking forward to sharing with eachother and our girls together. Abby was always up for joining me for a new activity and did such an amazing job wearing so many hats in her life. I am thankful to have known her.
What a great church friend. I enjoyed our talks around the big table after services on Sunday. God has a plan and I am very sorry for us and your family. You will be missed. God Bless you Abby. Chuck Rhein
