Albert 'Ollie' Wucherer

Albert V. “Ollie” Wucherer, 90 years old, of Mayville, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac, WI. Funeral services for Ollie will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 1p.m. from the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, WI with Rev. Allen Kramp officiating. Visitation will held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 from 11a.m. till 1p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville. Burial will follow services at St. John’s Cemetery, Mayville, WIOllie was born on June 3, 1926 to Valentine and Mary (Hoffmann) Wucherer in West Bend, WI. He was a 1944 graduate of Mayville High School. Ollie was united in marriage to Joyce Ann Pappenfuss on May 18, 1957 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville, WI. He was employed as a former Mayville Police Officer, and also as a draftsman at Maysteel Corp. in Mayville. Ollie then retired from serving as the Hustisford Postmaster.Albert was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Mayville. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and was an avid Packers fan. He enjoyed all seasons in Eagle River, WI on Otter Lake, where he enjoyed fishing and boating. Ollie is survived by his wife Joyce Ann of Mayville; his brother William J. Wucherer of Waupun, his nephews Michael (Christine) Wucherer, Robert (Rose) Wucherer, and Daniel Wucherer; his brother-in-law Dennis (Kathy) Pappenfuss of Mission, TX, his nieces Melissa (Brian) Wild of Rhinelander and Heather (Elton) Moseman of Rochester, MN; his great nieces and nephews Michael C., Candice, Trenton, Logan, Emilee, and Ava other relatives and friends.Albert is preceded death by his parents.Memorials may be directed to St. John Ev.
