Alec M. Grabarkiewicz, 27, of Horicon, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.A memorial gathering for Alec will take place on Monday, January 14th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville. Alec was born the son of Matthew and Julie (Martens) Grabarkiewicz on September 26, 1991 in Fond du Lac. He was a 2010 graduate of Horicon High School. Alec loved playing guitar, and loved music. He enjoyed playing video games, reading and had a great sense of humor that will be missed. He is survived by his mother; Julie (Jason) Labinski of Horicon, his father; Matt (Carrey) Grabarkiewicz of Horicon, maternal grandparents; Barbara (Ray) Gregg of Horicon, paternal grandparents; Michael (Mariella) Grabarkiewicz of Florida and Ann (Don) Morrison of Texas, sisters and brothers; Courtney (Kayla) Grabarkiewicz of Mayville, Callie Greshay, Taylor Labinski and Jace Labinski all of Horicon. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Alec was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Hank Martens.
