Allen L. Jones, 67, of Sparta and formerly of Beaver Dam passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Rolling Hills Nursing Home in Sparta, Wisconsin. A visitation for Allen will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home, N7199 N. Crystal Lake Road, Beaver Dam with John Leiting as Celebrant. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Highland Memory Gardens in the township of Trenton, Wisconsin. Graveside military honors will be conducted by the Beaver Dam American Legion Post #146. Allen Lee was born the son of Edgar and June (Adamzak) Jones on July 9, 1948 in Beaver Dam. He proudly served in the United States Marines during Vietnam. He had been employed at Giddings and Lewis in Fond du Lac for many years. Allen enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Allen is survived by his daughters: Brenda Jones, Rebecca Jones and Barbara Jones all of Ladysmith; six grandchildren: Cody, Lucas, Hunter, Trevor, Mataya and Devin and one great grandson Camren; his sisters and brothers: Judy (Ron) Halfman of Beaver Dam, Linda (Marv) Engebretson of Ripon, Edgar Jones and James Jones both of Mayville and Audrey (Alan) Thomas of Beaver Dam; his brother-in-law Bruce Fleischfresser; and his former wife Lois Hoople. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Beverly Fleischfresser and brothers: Robert Jones and Steven Jones.
