Amilda Ella WaltersAmilda E. Walters, 96, of Mayville, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 10, 2018.Amilda was born the daughter of Martin and Laura (Bonack) Machmueller on November 6, 1921 in the town of Theresa. On August 30, 1941 she was united in marriage with Donald Walters Sr. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. Amilda was a faithful lifelong member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Mayville. She enjoyed cooking, baking, canning and gardening. Amilda also loved crocheting for her family.She will be missed by her children; Bonnie (Dan) Sanger of Mayville, David (Maryann) Walters of Campbellsport, Merlin (Vicki) Walters of Fond du Lac, Linda Haddy of Fond du Lac, Donald Walters Jr. of El Paso, TX, Alice (Dennis) Krueger of Mayville, Sandra (Jim) Seering of Mayville, Kenneth (Diane) Walters of Iron Ridge, and Barbara (Bob) Holzem of Brownsville, daughter-in-law; Diane (Jeff Lange) Walters of West Bend, 1 sister; LaVern (Joseph) Magar of Mayville, close friends; Mike and Mary, 28 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Amilda is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.Amilda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Sr. in 1984, 1 son; Robert, her twin brother; Merlin, 2 other brothers; Armond and Melvin, 1 sister; Edna Wendler, and 1 son-in-law; Jerry Haddy.A private funeral service was held for Amilda.
