I always thought of Amy as my quiet, introspective cousin.
Our last visit was a happy one. Always thought I’d see her again.
Amy was my cousin and I always enjoyed her company. Growing up my family loved going to her parents house to see my cousins. Riding her horse playing in the fields ,sledding and snowball fights even in the summer. We had to wash up after the snowball fights in the summer. When I was old enough to go to the cottage with with grandma and grandpa and all of the cousins we had even more fun. Fishing, swimming , blueberry picking playing cards on rainy days. There was always something fun to do with them. It wasn’t quite as fun when Carole and Amy tied me to a post and took my pocket knives away, I got loose and beat them back to the cottage. I never told them my secret escape method and they never tied me up again. I will miss Amy and always remember all the good times with her.
Amy was my cousin. This obituary speaks so well of her life and interests.
In recent years, Amy and I messaged almost daily and had long phone conversations.
Amy was underestimated by many. She was very intelligent, had good critical thinking skills, was thoughtful, well-informed, and compassionate. Amy could discuss of variety of issues and our conversations were always fun, interesting, and enlightening. She rescued a number of dogs and cats and loved them all.
I will miss her every day.
