Angeline Krezinski

Angeline Ann (Wild) Krezinski, age 86, of Beaver Dam, gracefully passed away following a brief illness. She entered into eternal life peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Angie’s Christian faith was the focus of her life. She wore out many rosaries from use and the highlight of her week was Sunday worship. Angie Wild was born October 26, 1930 in Beaver Dam to Alfred and Philomena (Reiser) Wild as the second youngest of 11 brothers and sisters, and attended St. Peter’s Catholic School through 9th grade and graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1949. She married Philip J. Krezinski on Sept. 8, 1951, and was happily married for 63 wonderful years, until Phil passed away in 2015. Angie lived in Beaver Dam all her life. She raised her family on Healy Avenue, and then moved half a block to her new home on E. South Street in 1977, where she and Phil happily resided for the remainder of their lives. Angie never had a driver’s license, but ironically volunteered for 35 years delivering Meals on Wheels. For many, many years she volunteered on the St. Michael’s funeral kitchen crew, served communion to the homebound, and was a member of St. Michael’s Christian Mothers Society. Angie was humble, grateful and fulfilled being a wife, mother and a grandmother. She loved to cook, make Seafoam candy at Christmas, garden, bowl in the mixed couples’ league with Phil, listen to the radio, and walk. She was a big gambler – she loved the penny slots. She loved cheering for her grandchildren at sporting events and was proud of each one of them. At home, her favorite pastimes were playing scrabble, putting together puzzles, and knitting. Over the years, the Christmas giving tree at church was always filled with mittens, and her grandchildren always had plenty of mittens and hats to keep them warm. Angie and Phil raised four children – Stephen (Dawn) Krezinski, Debbie (Jerry) Hoch, Sharon (John) Westenmeyer, and Patricia (Michael) Heider. Her nine grandchildren are Sarah (Kevin) Yarbrough, Erica (Paul) Ferrini, Julie (Jordan) Kroll, Andrew (LeeAnn) Westenmeyer, Rebecca (Steve) Westenmeyer, Jacob Westenmeyer, Brandon (Kaylie) Heider, Mitchell Heider and Riley Heider. She was also blessed with 17 great grandchildren. Angie is survived by sisters-in-law Marjorie Wild and Marion (Wild) Slovak and brother-in-law Nicholas (Marlene) Krezinski. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Arnold, Louis, Ben, Raymond, Roman and Gilbert and sisters Agnes Weninger, Madeline Hug, Gertrude Gundrum, and Virginia Hug A heartfelt thank you to the caring staff of Generations Hospice. We are grateful for their Christian compassion and care shown to our mother during her journey to the Lord. We love you, Mom and will always drive safely. The visitation will be at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, 511 South Spring Street, in Beaver Dam on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:20 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Michael J. Erwin officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Angie Krezinski’s name can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul, Diabetes Association or the American Legion.
