Anthony “Tony” Michael Simich, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, at the age of 88 in his home in Beaver Dam.
Born on June 23, 1937, in Mayville, Wisconsin, Tony was the son of George and Victoria (Lagi) Simich. Tony married LaVerne Davison on June 29, 1957. Together, they created a loving home filled with laughter. Tony retired after 31 years at Mayville Engineering Company. Tony enjoyed bowling and fishing up north and often went salmon fishing in Port Washington. He also enjoyed going to the casino with his wife. A devoted fan of the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and the Bucks he enjoyed cheering for his teams.
Tony is survived by his wife LaVerne of 68 years of Beaver Dam; 5 children, Linda (Wally) Guelig of Phillips, Laurie (Jeff) Dresen of Beaver Dam, Donna (Ken) Kittell of Mayville, Steven (Isabella) Simich of Fond du Lac, and Dawn Simich of Roberts; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Michael, and Jospeh Simich; and sister, Mary Lechner.
The family would like to thank Hillside Homecare and Hospice for the exceptional care that was given to Tony.
Private inurnment will be held at a later date at Stone Cemetery in Burnett.
