Arthur J. Boeck, age 84, of Fox Lake, died Thursday, June 6, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.
In keeping with Arthur’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Instead, there will be a celebration of life on Friday, July 12th at The Hive, W4786 WI-23 Trunk, Fond du Lac, WI from 4pm to 8 pm.
Arthur John Boeck was born on July 13, 1939, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Joseph and Sylvia (Islab) Boeck. He graduated from Milwaukee Institute of Technology with a degree in Engineering. In May of 1967, Arthur was united in marriage with Susan R. Anderegg in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Army as the Vietnam War was beginning and remained in the Army Reserves for many years. He was a member of the Fox Lake American Legion.
Arthur worked as a manufacturing engineer throughout his life. He served his apprenticeship at Badger Meter in Milwaukee and then went on to work for Kelsey Hayes Brakes in the Milwaukee area, Speed Queen in Ripon, before retiring from ATACO Steel Products in Cedarburg. When he wasn’t working, Arthur enjoyed hunting and fishing; he also enjoyed working on the antique classic cars and tractors that he collected.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Boeck of Fox Lake; three sons, Michael (Rachel) Drake of Neenah, Kevin (Kimberly) Boeck of Fond du Lac, and Brian (Kathy) Boeck of Juneau; seven granddaughters, Alissa (Max) Schmidt of Appleton, Erin (Jared) Pethan of Menasha; Lydia Drake of Neenah, Ashley (Sheldon) Smith of Fond du Lac, Miranda Boeck of Fond du Lac, Brianna Boeck of Fond du Lac, and Marissa Boeck of Juneau; a great granddaughter, Sadie Schmidt; his brother, David Boeck of Colorado; and other relatives and friends. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents.
