Barbara J. Hilbert, age 62, of Horicon, died on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at St. Luke”s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Friends and family may call at the Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 10:00 AM until the time of service. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at the Murray Funeral Home in Horicon at 11:00 AM. Fr. Michael Petrie will officiate. Entombment will be in St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.

The former Barbara Joan Kujawa was born on May 12, 1944, in Milwaukee the daughter of Henry and Stella (Draszkiewicz) Kujawa. On April 8, 1966, she was united in marriage to Larry Benson in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1980. On August 5, 1983, in Mayville, she was united in marriage to William Hilbert. He preceded her in death in 2001.

Barbara was a graduate of St. Mary”s Academy and Sacred Heart Nursing School both of Milwaukee. She worked at Woods VA Hospital, then moved to Horicon and worked at Clearview in Juneau for over 19 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Horicon.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (fiance Mark Stephens) Benson of Waupun; her two sons, Robert Benson of Horicon and Mark Benson of Kansas; her three grandchildren, Brian, Patrick and Nykole; her sister, Christine (Kenneth) Kiel of Franklin, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Larry in 1980; her second husband, William in 2001; her son, Paul in 1990 and her brother Donald.
