Bertha N. DeLisi

Bertha M. “Birdie” DeLisi, age 85, of Beaver Dam, formerly of St. Paul, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Family and friends may call at the St. Pascal Catholic Church, 1757 Conway Street , St. Paul, Minnesota 55106 (651-774-1585) on Monday, April 23, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at church on Monday, beginning at 10:30 AM. Fr. David McCauley will officiate. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The former Bertha Marie Davidson was born on September 9, 1921 in New York Mills, Minnesota to the late John and Mary (Knuttila) Davidson. On June 24, 1945, she was united in marriage with Carmelo DeLisi in New York, New York. Bertha worked at the 3M Company in St. Paul, Minnesota for many years. In 2002, she moved to Beaver Dam.

Survivors include three children, Judith (Darwin Banes) Lindquist of Beaver Dam, Charles DeLisi of St. Paul, MN. and Joanne (Bob) Tyler of St. Paul, MN; four grandchildren, Carlee and Bobby Tyler, Amy (Jason) Ledford, and Brian Lindquist; two great grandchildren, Bailey and Riley Ledford; two brothers and a sister, Gerald Davidson of Perham, MN, Kenneth (Marion) Davidson of Grand Forks, ND, and Beatrice (Cliff) Bigley of Mesa, AZ; a sister-in-law, Airi Davidson of Windsted, MN, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carmelo in 1998, her granddaughter, Angela Tyler, and her brother, Robert Davidson.
