Betty C. Woskoski, age 85, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Waupun Christian Home.
Betty was born on August 28, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Ilo and Henrietta (Manz) Gross. On November 2, 1957, she married the love of her life, Edward “Eddie” Woskoski, and together they made their home in West Bend, where they built a life centered on family, and caring for others.
In the 70’s Betty and Eddie decided to give warmer weather a try and moved to Tempe, AZ and later Phoenix. Being a natural caregiver, Betty devoted much of her time there working for the state as a caregiver for the disabled. They moved back to West Bend in the 80’s and she continued her career at Cedar Community, where she compassionately cared for residents until her retirement. Her kindness, patience, and gentle spirit touched countless lives.
Following retirement, Betty and Eddie moved to Beaver Dam. Betty had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs, and looked forward to casino outings whenever she had the chance. Above all, nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her grandchildren. Being a grandmother was one of life’s greatest blessings, and she cherished every moment shared with her family.
Betty is survived by her children, Rona (David) Bergdorf and Rusty (Jean) Woskoski; grandchildren, Dimitrios (Terry) Kardaris, Nicole (Randy) DeVries and Samuel (Rebekah) Bergdorf, and Zachary Woskoski; great grandchildren, Zoe (Jarod) Schmidt, Dionisios (Lauren) Kardaris and Briella Kardaris, Logan (Erin) Meier, Lucas (Samantha) Meier and Grace (Noah) Krebs; great-great grandson, Theodore Meier; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie in 2013; brother, Thomas Gross; and her special dogs, Samantha, Hoss and Misty.
