I have wonderful memories of your mom being in the high school office. She was a fixture there through our growing up years and always had a friendly face to welcome you.

I knew Betty Anding for 36 years. She always served as someone in Kathy and my life who brightened our days with her kind letters and calls. They were always insightful and inspirational. She had a very positive view of life. We would see her for all the Holidays that we could get back to Mayville. She made me feel like I was her son . She enjoyed taking us around and we shopped together at Piggly Wiggly and went to the Mayville parade and Horicon days and had wonderful family picnics in the summer. She always smiled and had a happy or funny thing to saw. She always referred to Oris as Father , especially when we went out to eat at the Root Beer drive in and made sure he got his favorite foods. I will miss her and am so sorry that I was not a part of the family to see her for the past several years. You have all been in my thoughts and I still love everyone. Joe D
