Dear Carol & Ken, You and your dad have my deepest sympathy. I did not know that she passed away. I was in shock when I looked at this site. There are fond memories of her as a kid as she taught me sewing in 4-H as well as explaining other sewing projects that I got stuck on. Because of her I have enjoyed sewing my whole life. Also, I have fond memories where us kids played together. I can hardly believe that we are to this point in life already. She will be missed. Please give your dad a hug for me. I'm sure he will miss her dearly. Love, Linda Ganz
Betty and I were cousins and about the same age! Talking with daughter-in-law, Mary Kolb, yesterday renewed memories of our young years together. I learned of her recent illnesses and about the family. Living in Arizona doesn't allow me to be at the funeral, but I prayed for her and Pete today at mass on All Saints Day. It is fitting that her memorial will be tomorrow, All Souls Day. My deepest condolences, love and prayers. Pearl Kolb Quast
Dear Pete, I am so sorry about Betty. She was a lovely woman and I know you will miss her. I have fond memories of seeing the two of you together.
Betty spent many hours at her house guiding me through my 4-H sewing projects. Prayers for comfort and peace to her family.
Well done, good and faithful servant of our Lord! So many great memories of Betty from St. John's and Juneau Victorians 4-H. My sincerest sympathy to all the family.
