Beverly M. Koenitzer, age 100, of Mayville, went peacefully home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 12, 2022 at Prairie Ridge Asst. Living, Mayville, with her family by her side.
A memorial service in memory of Beverly will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Mayville at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Mark G. Cutler & Rev. Joshua Frazee officiating. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date in Eagle River, Wisconsin.
Beverly was born the 4th daughter of William and Agnes (Nicholas) Roberts on Christmas Day, 1921 in Milwaukee. She was a 1938 graduate of North Division High School, Milwaukee and attended Marquette University for engineering. She worked at Allis Chalmers and A.O. Smith, where she met her husband Donald Koenitzer, marrying him in 1948. They raised three sons in Waukesha and purchased a vacation/retirement lake home in Eagle River. She lived in Florida and North Carolina before moving back to Wisconsin four years ago. Beverly loved to sew and create oil paintings. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Mayville.
Beverly is survived by her three sons: William (Kay) Koenitzer of Mayville; Mark (Ginny) Koenitzer of Venice, FL; and Gary (Dina) Koenitzer, of Fayetteville, NC. Her grandchildren: William (Katie) Koenitzer, Jr., Tiffany Koenitzer, Beverly (Joseph) Dean, Mike Koenitzer. Great Grandchildren: Courtney (Matt) Brown, Cole Koenitzer, Kaitlyn Koenitzer, Fletcher Koenitzer, Krysalis Dean, Isabella Dean, Kaylee Dean, and Joseph Dean, Jr. Her sister: Geraldine Haas, FL. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters.
