Mrs. Damon, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss of Bobby. I work for Strand Associates and had the pleasure of working with Bobby on a few highway projects. He was a great mentor and always spoke highly of you and your children. Please cherish the wonderful memories of Bobby and may God Bless you and your family.

Rachel, My deepest sympathies for your loss; you and your family are in our prayers. I really wish I could have gotten to know him better; having crossed paths with him at the Family Center on a regular basis - he was always there. I know your children are a reflection of you and Bobby, and getting to know "Emme" through our hockey development program was a special treat for me - her special and constant smile says a lot about you and Bobby. I hope and trust that all of us at the Family Center can be an extended family for you and your children during this difficult time. Bobby will be missed.
Bobby and his family were old friends of mine and my family, and Bobby and I have the exact same birthday, born in the same hospital. I'm so sad to hear of his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with his family

Words cannot express how sorry I am. Bobby was a best friend of my son, Eric Smith throughout their school years, and beyond. He spent many hours at our house, and I got to know him well. He was special back then, and I knew he would be special in adulthood. And he was. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you all

Just want to pass on my family's prayers and condolences. He was working on our street in Sun Prairie and he would tell me daily how wonderful it was that I can handle all these kids doing daycare in my home. He would play with the dogs and talk to all the daycare kiddos. He also told me what a great family he had and told me about everyone of his kids and how amazing they were and that his wife was his world. I just wanted to pass this along and say you are in our prayers during this very difficult time. Trish and Ron Yoss
My sympathies, thoughts, and prayers are with the entire Damon family. Sounds like God needed this amazing man for a higher purpose. This obituary is beautiful and he will live on in your hearts and the eyes of his children.

My condolences to all the Damon family for the loss of Bobby. In his years at Strand, Bobby was always enjoyable to talk sports with. I swear we talked hockey, football or baseball every time we crossed paths. My condolences to you and your family on the loss of Bobby. I am sitting here typing this note to you in shock and a loss for words of how sorry that I am for all of you. I lived in the same neighborhood as the Damon's out in Hickory Meadows from 1980-1983 until we moved to Kansas City. Bobby and I were good friends at that time and had a lot of fun together playing baseball, riding bikes and just hanging out together. My prayers to you are that you find comfort in the Lord's Word and that God places his hands on all of you to help you heal your hearts and your minds. Best Regards, Brad Neperud
