Brian J. Kehrmeyer

Brian John Kehrmeyer, age 57, of LeRoy, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by the people who loved him most.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Brian will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy with Rev. Fr. Zachary Galante presiding. A visitation for Brian will be held at church on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. Inurnment at St. Andrew’s Cemetery will take place on a later date.

Brian was born the son of Vernon and Catherine (Michalowski) Kehrmeyer on January 23, 1968, in Waupun. He graduated from Mayville High School in 1986. Brian was united in marriage to Jennifer Behnke on June 29, 1996, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy where he was a member. In 2000, they built their home in Leroy, creating a warm and welcoming place to raise their boys, but also a gathering spot for their friends. Outside of the home, they would often go on couples’ trips, attend Packer games or spend long weekends camping with their friends.

Brian spent many years working as a shipping manager at Steel Craft in Hartford, but his greatest purpose was found beyond the workplace. He enjoyed coaching baseball in LeRoy and serving in the LeRoy Athletic Club. Nothing made him prouder than cheering on his three sons, Evan, Trenton, and Kaeden at their games, tournaments, and everything in between. His boys were his world.

Some of Brian’s happiest memories were made at Deer Camp. It was a place where the stories were loud, the laughs were louder, and the time spent together mattered more than the hunting itself. Whether it was sitting around a campfire, visiting the local establishments, playing cards, or simply giving each other a hard time, those were the moments he treasured most.

Brian also loved the simple pleasures that made life sweet: playing bags on the Fourth of July, enjoying a cold garage beer with friends, and savoring the everyday moments that brought people together.

Brian is survived by his wife Jennifer; his sons: Evan (fiancée Haley Cole) Kehrmeyer, Trenton (Kennah Konrad) Kehrmeyer, and Kaeden (Kendra Hewitt) Kehrmeyer; his mother Catherine Kehrmeyer; his father and mother-in-law: Pobe and Barb Behnke; his siblings: Sharon (Mark) Hybke, Linda (Jim) Hastings, Mike (Mary) Kehrmeyer, Sandy (Randy) Kehrmeyer, Lisa (Jeff) Collien, and Annette (Kevin) Kehrmeyer; and his brother-in-law: Barry (Sara) Behnke. Brian is deeply missed and always remembered by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his father Vernon Kehrmeyer.
