Brian T. Sternat, 58, of Beaver Dam passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at his home. Brian was born the son of Rudolph R. “Rudy” and Gladys H. (Lehner) Sternat Jr. on November 22, 1958 in Waupun. He was a graduate of West Bend East High School in 1976. He attended U.W. – Stevens Point from 1976 until 1980 and later to Arizona State. Brian worked for 32 years in retail in the Beaver Dam area. He was currently employed with Kraft-Heinz in Beaver Dam. On May 24, 2000, he was married to Diane L. Wiser in Shelbyville, TN. Together, they enjoyed life to the fullest. They loved to sneak off to play bingo, take motorcycle rides, and go fishing in their boat. Last but not least, they loved to take wine tasting trips where they made many memories. Brian knew many people and will be greatly missed by all. Brian is survived by his wife, Diane of Beaver Dam; his brother, Harvey (Janet) Sternat of Bayfield; his sister-in-law, Mary Ann Sternat of Mayville; brother-in-law, Larry Garman of TN; sisters-in-law, Joanne Walther of Beaver Dam, Jean (Joe) Pantely of Beaver Dam and Jill Yaeger of Watertown; his brothers-in-law, Jon A. Wiser of Prairie du Chien and Dale (Penny) Wiser of Brandon; his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Connie Kraemer of Clyman; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his “fur babies,” Buttons and Moscato. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Denise Garman; his brother, Ron Sternat; as well as aunts and uncles. A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
