Bruce A. Cundy was born the son of Kenneth and Lillian (Ehlert) Cundy on August 12, 1959. He passed away at the age of 61 on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at his home in Brownsville.Bruce was an avid train enthusiast who spent many hours working on his model train set. His favorite line was Southern Pacific and he collected many pieces over the years. He enjoyed train watching around the state by taking scenic photos of trains passing by. Two photos were even published in one of the model train magazines he subscribed to. Bruce also loved his job at Gleason Reel and poured his heart and soul into his work. His job allowed him to travel the world and he visited five continents, 14 countries, and 49 U.S. states. He made many friends along the way that he held near and dear to his heart. Finally, his family was his number one priority. He married his beautiful wife, Mary Mueller on April 7, 1984. From there, they grew their family with 2 daughters, Melinda and Jennifer. They enjoyed traveling and working around their house. When it was time for grandkids, two girls and two boys joined the family. Papa spent many wonderful years spoiling the grandkids. He shared his love of trains with them and took them to many model train shows. He treated the whole family to a trip to Yellowstone via Amtrak in 2016. It was a trip that we will never forget.
