Bruce A. Stoy

June 8, 1963 - August 17, 2024

Bruce Allyn Stoy, age 61, of Mayville, Wisconsin passed away at his home on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

A Celebration of Bruce’s life will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Upper Lions Park in Mayville near the Pavilion with Rev. Fr. Charlie Zabler presiding.

Bruce was born the son of Donald and Bonnie (Brockway) Stoy on June 8, 1963. He attended Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac and later went on to study at Moraine Park Technical College. Bruce was united in marriage to Paula Hartmann on June 27, 1987, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mayville.

Bruce was a collector of AMC Muscle Cars. One of his greatest joys was attending car shows and also being a judge at those shows. He enjoyed fixing cars.
Bruce will be missed by his wife Paula; his kittys; sister Debra Bartow; sisters-in-law: Christine (Donald) Wondra and Mary (Alvin) Erke. Bruce is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mark Stoy.

So many great memories from meeting Bruce at Gleason Reel and later developing a friendship with him and his lovely wife and family. Bruce was one of my favorite people back then. Bruce will never be forgotten. Rest easy.

We are so sad to here of his passing. Bruce was so kind and giving of himself. He would go out of his way to help just about anyone.He will be truly missed. Condolences to Paula and his family.

I will miss seeing Bruce driving around town in the red convertible with the top down and a big smile on his face! I will miss him telling us what “great ladies” we are!
