Bruce and I go back along time. We grouse hunted together when he was with DNR at Wis. Rapids. With DU he challenged 5-6 of us to start the Sugar River Chapter of DU where I was Sec/Treasure for 18 years. Bruce also knew our son and my brother when he hunted at Fiegel’s. My sympathies to all of his family. He was a great guy and a dedicated conservationist

Bruce has been one of my closest friends for more than 40 years. We worked together, did lots of bird hunting together in South Dakota and we spent many times on the golf course trying to beat each other. I will miss him greatly, Tal

Holly & Family,
Our deepest sympathies on your Dads passing.
He was the best of the best. A great mentor, and an even better friend.
We have many fond memories of upland bird hunting with him, lots of spirited conversations, and, of course, great meals. He was an absolute purist at heart, and a joy to be around. His love of pointing dogs is legendary.
He will live on in our many cherished memories of him.
We share in your great loss.

Holly and family,

Sandy and I were so sorry to hear from Dan about Bruce's passing. What a class guy, and what a privilege it was for me to "do DU" with him. Our trips to Wishek were especially memorable! We are sorry we can't be with you Sunday. We are hosting a church event at our home that has been on the calendar for a long time.
God Bless, and know that we are thinking of you.

You will be missed Bruceee! I enjoyed many Friday afternoons getting a golfing lesson and learning about wildlife. I am thankful and blessed that are paths crossed in this thing we call life. Till we meet again Brucee ! I will watch over the lanterns on south side of house.
