Carol J. Hepp

Carol Joyce Hepp, 83, of Beaver Dam passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Beaver Dam Community Hospital. Carol was born the daughter of William and Suzanna (Olson) Attleson on December 11, 1934 in the township of Otsego, Columbia County, WI. She was a 1952 graduate of Columbus High School. Carol was married to John A. Hepp on September 4, 1954 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lost Lake, WI. Carol was a member of First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker who will be remembered as an excellent cook. Carol took pride in her yard and keeping a nice home. She was an animal lover especially of horses. Carol enjoyed driving the family heirloom John Deere tractor that her son Dennis restored. Carol is survived her husband of 63 years, John of Beaver Dam; her children: Dennis Hepp (special friend, Carrie Sieja) of Beaver Dam, Denise Rochwite of Beaver Dam, Donna (Brian) Schmitt of Beaver Dam, and Diane (David) Schultz of Columbus; five grandchildren: John Rochwite, Claire, Jack, and Jesse Schultz, and Alexandria Hepp. She is also survived by close family friends, Jake and Kathy Schmucki of Beaver Dam; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her four siblings: Harlan Attleson, Wilbur Attleson, Arletta Miller, and Delores Lindgren. A visitation will be held at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at the church. Interment will take place at Leipsig Cemetery, township of Beaver Dam. Carol’s family would to thank Susie of Agnesian Health for all her care and support.
