A man of few words, he was a great listener with a witty sense of humor and became a loyal friend to anyone he met. He only knew one way of life and that was farming. His passion for farming created him into the hard working, land loving man that he was. As a farmer, he saw highs and lows, but always remained faithful that the good Lord would help him through and be given a bountiful return from his hard-working farming endeavors. He appreciated all that was given to him in life. Carroll was grateful for all his neighbors and friends and enjoyed having conversations about framing. He will be remembered for his kind and gentle manner and for the beautiful person that he was. His smile and reserved chuckle, will be greatly missed.*
