Clarence W. Sedbrook Jr, 78, of Beaver Dam, died at North Central Health Care in Wausau on May 22, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Chris Davis officiating. A memorial gathering will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. also on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Clarence W. Sedbrook Jr. was born on October 19th, 1938 in Platteville, Wi, he was the son of Clarence W. Sedbrook Sr. and Frances Sedbrook(Bratnek). He graduated from Plateville High School in 1956, after high school Clarence went to work for farms around the Platteville area. Eventually His work took him to Beaver Dam where he worked for Monarch Range, Beaver Specialties, Northern Hatchery, and finally the Beaver Dam Hospital where he later retired from. He met his wife Carol LeRoy at a singles dance. While dating Carol (and throughout marriage) Clarence was known for sending flowers from Gene’s Beaver Floral of Beaver Dam to Carol once a week. On April 30th, 1983 they were united in marriage at the Free Methodist Church in Beaver Dam. He was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam. He enjoyed spending time with his family, roller skating, fishing, playing video games, going to the casino, watching MeTV and the Gameshow Network. Clarence especially enjoyed spending time with his dogs Paris and Pedro. He also enjoyed many laughs with his home care nurses. He is survived by his children; Sara Sedbrook, and Joseph LeRoy, both of Beaver Dam, his siblings; Barbara Kerney, Donald (Irene) Sedbrook, grandchildren; Kelsi Rose LeRoy, and Austin LeRoy, great granddaughter, Kali Rose LeRoy, nieces Tanya Sedbrook, Mary Ann (Robert) Graves, nephew Charles LeRoy, great nieces; Addie Graves and Sadie (David) Auck , great nephew Joshua Reany. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 sister in laws, 1 brother in law and 1 nephew. Memorials are suggested to the family. A special thank you to North Central Health Care nurses and staff for their compassion, highly skilled care and to all the home care nurses who cared for Clarence over the years.
