Clifford Yunk, age 74, of Iron Ridge passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Hudson Hospital in Hudson.
A memorial service for Cliff will take place on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 12 noon at the Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville with the Rev. Fr. Justin Lopina presiding. Vistation will take place from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service at noon at the funeral home.
Cliff was born the son of Ralph and Frances (Tanko) Yunk on November 7, 1947, in Milwaukee. He was graduate of New Berlin High School. Cliff then went on to become a tool and die maker and worked at various places over the years. In his younger years, Cliff was an accomplished boxer in Milwaukee and earned Wisconsin Golden Gloves and became a state champion in 1971 at 139 lbs. He was also a talented woodworker and crafted most of the furniture in his home and sold his projects locally. Cliff loved nature and enjoyed hunting and fishing and the comradery that went along with it.
Cliff is survived by his significant other- Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Rediske of Mayville. His daughter- Rebecca Yunk (Bryan) Walsch of Waukesha. His siblings- Marilyn Yunk of West Allis and Joanne Yunk of Knoxville, TN. His nephew- Brent Yunk of Alpharetta, GA. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
