Curtis E. Strohbeen, age 59, Milwaukee, passed away unexpectedly on Decemeber 26, 2022 at his home.
A celebration of Curtis’ life will be held on January 14th at 3 p.m. at his sister’s Jamie Vick’s residence in Columbus. Military honors will take place at a later date in Union Cemetery in Jefferson.
Curtis was born the son of Calvin E. and Sharon L. (Petroselli) Strohbeen in Fort Atkinson on March 11, 1963. Curtis had served his country honorably in the US Army for 4 years after graduating high school. He had worked in manufacturing. In his spare time, Curtis loved sports especially the Packers, Brewers, and the Bucks. He also loved music and enjoyed going to shows. His favorite bands were the Alan Parsons Project, Pink Floyd, ELO, BTO, John Denver, and Elton John, just to name a few. He loved being surrounded by family and friends and reminisce about good times from the past. Curtis will be fondly remembered for his genuine and cheery laugh that went along with his big heart.
Curtis is survived by his siblings- Kim Olson of Mayville, Jamie (Jeff) Vick of Columbus/Tomahawk, Ricky Strohbeen of Watertown, Brenda Strohbben of Milwaukee, Heidi (fiance’ Tarek) Petroselli of Tomah, and Billi Jo (Randy Giesecke) Petroselli of Tomah. His caregiver- Tony Grayson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents- Calvin Strohbeen and Sharon Petroselli, and his step mother Mary Strohbeen.
