Daniel P. Scallon, age 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Waupun, Wisconsin on October 22, 2022.
In honoring Dan’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
Dan was born on August 26, 1950 the son of Leo and Beverly (Perry) Scallon in Waupun, Wisconsin. Dan was a graduate of Waupun High school and was self- employed as an operator of his trucking business. Dan enjoyed hunting and training dogs.
Dan is survived by his sons: Nick (Kris) Scallon and Tony Scallon; his mother: Beverly Scallon; and his siblings: Tom (Sharon) Scallon; Jane (Matt) Rains; Linda Scallon; Jim Scallon; and Laura (Dennis) Zirbel.
Dan is preceded in death by his father, Leo; his maternal and paternal grandparents; and two brothers: Joe and William Scallon.

I am saddened by loosing Dan. But Dan was able to live the life he wanted. He had many interests and a lot of enthusiasm.
He liked socializing and many “coffee shop” friends.

This is really a surprise, can't believe he is gone. Dan was a dear friend of mine all the way back to college, and some of my favorite memories were of him getting me into pheasant and goose hunting, which we would do on Leo's (his dad's) land out near Markesan. One of the funniest guys I've ever met . . . I'm sorry I hadn't seen much of him in recent years, I will really miss him. God Bless brother!
