I was saddened to see that Dan had passed away. Dan and I ran the hurdles for the Beavers in 1969. He was a fine athlete and a gentle young man. Many times we sat together on the bus going to meets. Many times over the years I have wondered about Dan. I send my deepest condolences to his family for this tragic loss.
You were a great friend long ago and I'm sad we never stayed in touch...Will miss you...

To the family of Dan, may you find solace in all the good memories as you gather to memorialize his life. The first thing that popped into my head when I learned of this news was Dan and his Norton motorcycle from many years ago, and all the great music he & his brother Keith (my good friend) turned me on to!
We moved into Dan's neighborhood 10years ago. He was such a great person to talk to. Dan had a great attitude through all of his pain. He was a very positive person. I/we are so glad we got to know him. We will miss him. Love, John & Pat Kluz
