Darlene “Shorty” Kearley

Darlene M. “Shorty” Kearley, 83, formerly of Neosho passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Christian Homestead Care Center in Waupun.Darlene was born the daughter of Walter and Catherine (Schildt) Knueppel on August 1, 1933 in township of Hubbard, WI. Shorty was baptized at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon. She was confirmed and later married to Deryl Kearley on June 27, 1953 at Zion Lutheran Church in Horicon. Shorty later became a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stratford, WI.Shorty is survived by her son, Danny (Kim) Kearley of Hartford. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Deryl.A visitation will be held at Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Horicon on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Horicon.
