Darold L. Vance , age 84, of Beaver Dam, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in Beaver Dam.

Private family services will be held.

Darold Leroy Vance was born on August 2, 1922 in Huron, South Dakota to the late Dave and Florence (Henry) Vance. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Darold worked in construction in Chicago and was also a self-employed painter. On January 26, 1965, he was united in marriage with Vivian Hawk in Minnesota. She preceded Darold in death on September 26. 1995. He was a member of the John E. Miller American Legion Post #146 in Beaver Dam.

Survivors include his brother, David Vance of Riverside, CA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Darold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his brothers and sisters.
