David E. Langfeldt

David E. Langfeldt, age 64, of Columbus passed away with his family by his side on Monday, May 15, 2017 at his home.A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at the Koepsell- Zeidler Funeral Home in Columbus with the Rev. Sandra Schieble officiating. A visitation will take place from 10:00-11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2017 at the funeral home.David was born on January 20, 1953 the son of Walter and LuElla (Parpart) Langfeldt in Columbus. He was united in marriage to Ardele Buttke on October 7, 1972 at Zion Lutheran Church in Columbus. He was a retired auto mechanic. In his spare time, David was an avid race fan and enjoyed gardening. He also cherished the time spent with his family.David is survived by his wife- Ardele of Columbus. His children- Chad Langfeldt of Columbus and Julie Langfeldt of Columbus. His grandchildren- Nathan and Alexis Langfeldt. His brothers- Donald (Nancy) Langfeldt of Las Vegas and Dennis Langfeldt of Columbus. His is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.David is preceded in death by his parents.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
