David Mark was born on March 2, 1970 in Snoqualmie, Washington to Charles and Loretta (Owens) Lormis. On May 17, 2008, he was united in marriage to Christine Koch, who blessed him with four children that he adored. David was a loving husband and always found ways to make his wife feel cherished. He also loved spending time with his family, especially out on the family boat, fishing, and swimming in the lake. Whenever the grandkids were over, squeals of laughter could always be heard throughout the house while they were goofing around with their “Papa”. He enjoyed spending time in his garage creating countless projects out of wood, fixing cars, working on motors, and tinkering his day away. Everyone who knew him always looked forward to enjoying his homemade ice cream in the summer and skiing together in the winter. He could always be found helping in any way he could. He brought hope and joy to many through his music. Above all, he loved his Lord, his family, and his church.
David is survived by his wife, Christine; children, Micah (Samantha) Koch, Leah (Michael) Davis, Carissa (Jason) Costigan, and Collin (Sarah) Koch; grandchildren, Ezra, Ariana, Jude, Audrey, Skylar; father, Charles Lormis; brothers and sister, Charles (Bonnie) Lormis, Roy (Kathy) Lormis, Bob (Laura) Lormis, and Cindy (Myron) Fesler; parents-in-law, Jerome and Marge Steger, and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, John Beauprey, Jason Steger, Dorothy Steger, and Jared Steger; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
