Deanna M. Giese

Deanna M. Giese, 82, of Mayville, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Sylvan Crossing’s nursing home in Beaver Dam.Visitation for Deanna will take place on Thursday, June 20th from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in (Browns Corner) Horicon. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Daniel Seehafer officiating. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Mayville. Deanna was born on May 30, 1937 to Walter and June (Freeman) Garlow in Beaver Dam. On July 3, 1954 she was united in marriage with Ronald “Corky” Giese at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Beaver Dam. Deanna retired from Mayville Metal. She was a faithful member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Browns Corner where she was also on the Ladies Guild. She enjoyed bowling, reading, polkas, playing cards and going to the casinos along with watching Brewer and Packer games. Deanna will be missed by her children; Jeffrey (Cindy) Giese of Mayville, Randal (S.F. Pam Klute) Giese of Mayville, Nancy Carlson of Horicon, Bonnie (Bruce) Pribbernow of Marshfield, her special family friend; Ingrid Justman, sister; Pam Westover of Beaver Dam, grandchildren; Velvette (Kevin) Kiefer-Giese, Darcy (Shaun) Quigley, Matthew Giese, Cassandra (S.F. Doug) Giese, Christine (Erik) Wolf, Tara (Evan) Sullivan, and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald in 2004, two grandsons; Dustin and Ryan, son-in-law; Vincent, and one brother; Gary.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
