Deloris L. Senneff, age 83, of Horicon died on Friday, January 26, 2007 at the Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, January 30, 2007, at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 12 Noon at the church. Rev. Daniel Seehafer will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton, Dodge County.
The former Deloris Lillian Pagel was born on June 6, 1923, in a log cabin in the Town of Hubbard, Dodge County, the daughter of Walter and Hattie (Matthes) Pagel. On June 3, 1944, she was united in marriage to Albert Senneff at St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church in Horicon.
Deloris attended St. Stephen Lutheran School and was a lifelong member of St. Stephen Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing and crafts. She worked at Horicon Furniture Company (also known as Citadel) making draperies. She was also the assistant cook for the lunch program at St. Stephen Lutheran School for many years. Her grandchildren and step-grandchildren were the apple of her eye.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Senneff of Horicon; her daughter, Diana (Randy) Brzoskowski of Cudahy; her two grandchildren, Matthew (Lindsy) Giese of Madison and Megan Giese of GA; her two step-grandchildren, Erin Brzoskowski of Minneapolis and Tony Brzoskowski of Racine; and her brother, Eldred “Buddy” (Charlotte) Pagel of Horicon, other relatives and friends.
Deloris was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Delores Senneff”s name to the St. Stephen building fund or to Open Wide Your Hearts.
The Murray Funeral Home of Horicon is serving the family.
