Denise M. Hanefeld

Denise M. Hanefeld, 67, of Beaver Dam passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Beaver Dam.

Denise was born on March 1, 1958 in Beaver Dam to Herbert and Loretta (Ziert) Fischer.  She was married to Rick Hanefeld on May 19, 1984 at Trinity Church – United Methodist in Beaver Dam.  Denise was a member of Trinity Church – United Methodist in Beaver Dam. She was a diehard Packer fan. Denise enjoyed crafting activities. She loved cooking and baking, and enjoyed the times spent in the kitchen with her grandchildren.

Denise is survived by her husband Rick of Beaver Dam; her children: Brandi Hanefeld of Beaver Dam, Candice Hanefeld of Beaver Dam, and Cody (Elizabeth) Hanefeld of Waupun; seven grandchildren: Hayden, Taria, Zakkary, Jayna, Jerren, Zeier, and Ovie; her mother Loretta Fischer of Beaver Dam; her siblings: Diane “Kay” (Robert) Hull, Donna Fischer, and Lyle “Dean” Fischer all of Beaver Dam; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Herbert; her brother David; and her sister Deb Toellner.

A memorial gathering will be held at Trinity Church – United Methodist in Beaver Dam on Friday, October 24, 2025 from 2 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m.
