The deaths of Rhonda, "Hoot," and, now, Dennis Gibson leave unfillable voids in hearts, lives, and community. Heartache is the heaviest of burdens- too heavy for one to bear alone. I'm so sorry, Dennis, that you felt you had to do it on your own. So, to Dennis' son, family, closest friends, and fellow firefighers- know that our community will do our very best to help shoulder the burden of this tragic loss. I have never met this gentleman or any of his family. But my heart keeps telling me that the loss of his wife Rhonda, earlier this year, was just too much for HIS heart to handle. I could be way off, and either way my prayers go out to all the family and friends who lost two members of the same family so close together. Some people really are meant to be together forever, and thats what I see when I read this short but telling obituary. Gods Blessings to all of you. I never had the opportunity to get to know Dennis well but what I do know about Dennis is that he was one of the lucky ones. He met and married his soul mate Rhonda. You always gave me advice when I was working on my car because I also liked working on cars. I cannot remember a time Rhonda was not at the shop when Dennis was working on cars.
