Diane L. Happel

Diane L. (Ross) Happel, 75, of Beaver Dam passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Diane was born on June 18, 1942 the daughter of William and Leone (Lewis) Ross in Waukesha, Wisconsin. She married Carl A. Happel Jr. on November 12, 1960. Diane loved cooking, camping, gardening and spending time with family. She will be missed and thought of always. Diane is survived by her daughters: Corrine (David) Zimmerman of Fox Lake, Carla (Harold) Konen of Princeton, Elizabeth (Elias) Rameriz of Fond du Lac and Amy Foy of Beaver Dam; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren; her brother Dean Ross of Fox Lake and her sister Carol (Jack) Mitchell of Waukesha. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl A. Happel Jr., son Joseph Happel, daughter-in-law Sue Happel, mother Leone Ross and father William Ross, sisters-in-law Mary Clark and Catherine Zimmerman, father-in-law Carl A. Happel Sr. and mother-in-law Catherine Happel. A Celebration of Diane’s Life will be held at a later date. The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is serving the family.
