Dianne K. Tiedt, 77, of Beaver Dam passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at her home.
Dianne was born on April 2, 1947 in Edgerton, WI. She was married to Donald W. Tiedt on September 9, 1967. Dianne worked on her family’s farm for many years. She later was employed with Vintage Parts in Beaver Dam for 15 years until her retirement.
Dianne was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Columbus. In her early years, she enjoyed bowling in leagues. She also enjoyed playing cards in card clubs. Dianne loved music especially playing the organ, listening to polka, and dancing.
Dianne is survived by her children: twin sons: Michael J. and Merlin D. Tiedt, and son Mark W. (Candi) Tiedt all of Columbus; grandchildren: Scott (Ashley) Tiedt of Columbus and her guardian angel Jacque (James) Roberts of Reeseville; her great granddaughter Gracie; twin sister Donna (Ken) Dorn of Waterloo; half brother Charles (Tammy) Johns of Chesterton, IN; as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Ethel Johns in 2021; husband Donald in 1996; and stepsister Jeanette Zimmerman.
A visitation will be held at the Koepsell-Zeidler Funeral Home in Columbus on Friday, January 3, 2025 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 1 p.m. Rev. Andrew Perger will officiate. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Columbus.

I met Diane playing Sheepshead at Joan Selk's ( my aunt). She was such a delightful person. She had an incredible laugh and just seemed to enjoy our card parties. I will miss her. I always referred to her as the "Silent Assassin". She had an incredible habit of over trumping me and I'd moan and groan and she'd just giggle!! RIP my dear friend.
