Donald R. Majors I, age 79, of Fox Lake, died on Friday, March 6, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. A memorial gathering will be held at the Veteran’s Center, 300 Beichl Avenue in Beaver Dam on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Donald Ray Majors, was born on July 23, 1935 in DeKalb, TX to Alexander and Dessie (Rosser) Majors. In 1972 he was united in marriage with Patricia Howe in San Leandro, CA. He was in the United States Navy for 30 years, retiring in 1995. Donald worked for Kraft Foods in Beaver Dam and later worked for Rechek’s Food Pride. Survivors are his children, AJ (Jill) Majors and Donald (Denise) Majors II; grandchildren, Lyra and Dylan; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers and sister, Earl, Mike, Frank, Gordon, Mary and Burchell. The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is caring for the family.
