Donna Jean Schultz

June 18, 1931 - November 12, 2014

Donna Jean Schultz, 83 years old, passed away at her home in Beaver Dam on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. A private family graveside service will be held. Burial will take place at Bethany Cemetery in the Township of Calamus. Donna was born on June 18, 1931 in Madison, WI. She was united in marriage to Merlyn Schultz on January 31, 1953 in Dubuque, IA. Donna loved her home, her lake, her birds and squirrels, and her kittens with a all her heart. She was a spirit fairy in her woods. Her soul will always reside there with her beloved Merlyn. Donna is survived by two daughters, Barbara (David) Youngwirth of Oshkosh and Kristin (Brian) Kluz of Oshkosh; one granddaughter, Breanna Kluz of Oshkosh; sister, Linda (Cuccio) Demars of Fitchburg; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Donna is preceded by her husband Merlyn. A special thank you to her dear friend JoAnn, and Nancy Peters, Holly, Angie, Amber, and all the hospice girls who are angels with wings. We can’t ever thank you enough for your care. I never had the chance to meet either of you but I knew both Donna and Meryln from living on the lake just down the road from them about 20 years ago. We were good friends and I also worked at the animal hospital at that time so I was familiar with there kitty Badascht (I can't remember how to spell it!) their gray Persian. I will never forget all the times we visited and when she came over to the house when my son Daniel was born. They were very sweet people and always seemed to care deeply for one another.
