Eleanor “Nora” J. Oelke

Eleanor “Nora” Oelke, 70 years old, of Waupun, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014 at her home. Heaven has received a new angel. A private family service will be held. Eleanor Jane Oelke was born on May 15, 1944 to Joseph and Rachel (Tenpas) Fenrich in Waupun, WI. She was united in marriage to David W. Oelke on September 30, 1961 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waupun. She attended Waupun High School. Nora was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waupun. She was a member of the Oakfield VFW Ladies Auxiliary #8092 and AARP. Nora loved watching the Packers and loved her pets. Nora is survived by: her husband David of Waupun; her children- Rachelle Dunaj of Waupun, Becky (Mark) Welsch of Beaver Dam, and Robert (fiancée Kristin Hoefs) Oelke of Greenleaf, WI; her sisters & brothers- Marilyn Luedtke of Mequon, Bob Fenrich of Montello, Julie (Mark) Bartow of Waupun, and Kutzy (Larry) Kastien of Tomahawk; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Nora is preceded in death by: her infant grandson Craig, her parents, her brother Jack, and her brother-in-law Leroy Luedtke. Nora was a devoted military wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her love for her family was second to none; her generosity was unfounded.
