Eleanor Rae Hankes, beautiful baby daughter of Scott and Clair Hankes, died Thursday, February 19, 2015. Although she never took a breath in this world, she has been alive in our hopes and dreams for years. Seeing her grow, feeling her move, and simply anticipating her arrival has changed our lives forever – we will always love more deeply. We are grateful for the gift of our baby daughter Eleanor Rae and will cherish and miss her forever. A private family funeral service was held for Eleanor Rae. In addition to Scott and Clair, Eleanor Rae is survived by her grandparents, Terry & Bonnie Kieffer and Jerry & Donna Hankes, all of Beaver Dam; an aunt and three uncles, Katie (Josh) Holt of Stoughton, Matt Kieffer of Ames, IA, Matt (Leigh Ann) Hankes of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Jesse (Emily) Hankes of Greenfield; her cousin, Olivia Holt; and many other relatives. The Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam is caring for the family.
