Elva L. Boettcher, age 85, of Reeseville, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at the Columbus Community Hospital.
Friends and family may call at Trinity Lutheran Church, N2296 CTH “I”, in the Town of Lowell, on Tuesday, July10, 2007 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will follow at church on Tuesday, beginning at 11:00 AM. Rev. Matthew Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
Elva Lauretta Boettcher was born on January 29, 1922 in the Town of Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin to the late Erwin and Selma (Krueger) Boettcher. She worked at Weyenberg Shoe Factory in Beaver Dam, retiring when they factory closed. Elva was meticulous in the way she kept her house and yard; everything was neat, clean and in its place. She was an independent woman and enjoyed playing cards and listening to the radio. Elva was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include four nieces and nephews, Shirley Holland of Madison, Judy (Wilbert) Vick of Columbus, Fred (Donna) Yerges of Waterloo, and Ronald Yerges of Columbus, several great nieces and nephews, several great great nieces and nephews, and two great great great nieces, other relatives and friends. Elva was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, and her sister.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Elva L. Boettcher”s name to Trinity Lutheran Church or to a charity of choice.
