I am sorry to have missed Erwin's service so I could pay my respects to a former fellow worker. Erwin had a mischievous streak that kept us on our toes and made it fun to work at Mayville Die & Tool. I want to pay my respects to a great man.
We send our sympathy to each of you. Uncle Erv was a fine man, a great wit and much loved. He was a great story teller and a wonderful story reader (he gave us accents and sound effects !) Hope you write some of his stories down for future Guses to enjoy.
A donation in Uncle Erv's memory has been made to South Central Developmental Services of Cozad, Nebraska.
God bless each of you. Love from Jean and Art Schwarze
Erv was a good man, a kind man who dearly loved his family. Keep those memories close. You all are in our hearts and prayers.
I have such vivid memories of Erv and dad at the cabin. Leaving early in the morning, or early evening to fish the Flambeau or Smith Lake, often coming back with a bucket of fish to clean. I'd watch on the bridge in the evening to see them come off the river. They made sure us kids had a great vacation each summer. Was always entertained by how funny Erv was, and he swore!!! He was a great uncle and father. My sympathies to the Guses, and sweet dreams and peace to Uncle Erv,
Jannie
Sorry for your loss

Erv was such a very sweet man - always a smile or something to say to make you smile. He surely left his mark and will be missed. Our sympathy to the family. Jan & Wally Luebke
